Try as you might, you just can't make this stuff up. > Mom pleads guilty to using baby as a weapon <  A woman pleaded guilty Tuesday to swinging her 4-week-old son like a bat to hit her boyfriend during a fight, fracturing the infant's skull in the process.

Re: HEADLINES

Water Vs. Wine

It has been scientifically proven that if we drink 1 liter of water each day, at the end of the year we would have absorbed more than 1 kilo of Escherichia coli (E. coli) bacteria found in feces.

In other words, we are consuming 1 kilo of Poop. However, we do not run that risk when drinking wine (or rum, whiskey, beer or other liquor) because alcohol has to go through a purification process of boiling, filtering and/or fermenting.

WATER = Poop

WINE = HEALTH

Ergo: It is better to drink wine and talk stupid than to drink water and be full of crap. There is no need to thank me for this valuable information; I am doing it as a public service.

Arch, that guy has sparked an idea in me. Escalator Luge! That way if you happened to run into someone coming up said escalator, you would just clip them on the shins and pass briskly under them as they fell.

If you do, let's hope it's me going 300 mph in a drag boat or me in a threesome with Angelina Jolie and Kate Beckinsale. I'd say the odds of either or both occurring are about the same. (1,000,000,000,000,000,000 to 1)

Re: HEADLINES

Subject: Fw: Manure - A True Story

A little history !!!

Manure:  In  the  16th  and  17th  centuries,  everything  had  to   be
transported by ship and it was also before commercial fertilizer's invention, so large shipments of manure were common.

It was shipped dry, because in dry form it weighed a lot less than when

wet,but once water (at sea) hit it, it not only became heavier, but the
process of fermentation began again, of which a by product  is  methane
gas.

As the stuff was stored below decks in bundles you can see  what  could
(and did) happen. Methane began to build up below decks and the first time
someone came below at night with a lantern, BOOOOM! Several ships were
destroyed in this manner before it was determined just what was happening.

After that, the bundles of manure were  aways  stamped  with  the  term
"Ship High In Transit" on them, which meant for the sailors to stow it high
enough off the lower decks so that any water that came into the hold would not touch this volatile cargo and start the production of methane.
Thus evolved the term " S.H.I.T ", (Ship High In  Transport)  which  has  come  down through the centuries and is in use to this very day.

You probably did not know the true history of this word. Neither did I.

I had always thought it was a golf term.

Important Warning

      TICK WARNING!

I hate it when people forward bogus warnings, and I have even done it

myself a couple times... but this one is real, and it's important so

please send this warning to everyone on your e-mail list:

If people come to your front door saying they are checking for ticks

due to the warming weather and ask you to take your clothes off and

dance around with your arms up, DO NOT DO IT!! IT IS A SCAM!!

They only want to see you naked ... I wish I'd gotten this yesterday.

Re: HEADLINES

Subject: Coincidence?

Regardless of your political beliefs, you have to admit this is quite a
coincidence....

Many will recall that on July 8, 1947, witnesses claimed that an
unidentified object with five aliens aboard crashed onto a sheep and cattle
ranch just outside Roswell, New Mexico. This is a well-known incident that
many say has long been covered up by the U.S. Air Force and the federal
government.

However, what you may NOT know is that in the month of March 1948, exactly
nine months after that historic day, the following people were born:

Albert Arnold Gore, Jr.

Hillary Rodham (Clinton )

John F. Kerry

William Jefferson Clinton

Howard Dean

Nancy Pelosi

Dianne Feinstein

Charles E. Schumer

Barbara Boxer

See what happens when aliens breed with sheep?
This piece of information may clear up a lot of things.
