Experts: Hard to pin blame for ex-spy's death

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/15863307/

If a former Russian spy can be murdered by a colorless, odorless, tasteless poison by another spy, there is no good reason why I can't be a secret double agent!

I could sneak around if I wanted to.... assuming there weren't any decorative trees or ceiling fans..

Underfire I think you hit upon something here!

When a person reaches a height that's a bit above most of the crowds visual space and viewing plane, [6'6"ish may do it] when the tall person walks by the person in the crowd sees shoulders etc not the tall person's face. wink

I think here at TTF there can be a special unit of spy: the invisable ultra tall agents...  lol

Re: HEADLINES

I can't remember the headline to the story, well it's still being played out, now in court, but the one about the parents kidnapping the daughter on her wedding day.  While they sit in court for their trial, well their defense is that the son-in-law is evil.

Re: HEADLINES

I wish I could remember exactly how this headline went, but I'm pretty sure I saw it on the front page of The Boston Globe years ago.  The redevelopment authority here is called the Boston Redevelopment Authority, or BRA for short.

The headline went something like:
BRA seeks support

Poor guy, what a loner!  Did they say in the article what network he was watching before starting his mummified condition?

Re: HEADLINES

I suppose some depressing news story on Fox put the finishing touches to the poor guy, but it could have happened on any of the networks these days. We just have to filter through all the bad stuff to find some of the good stories.

Re: HEADLINES

I don't know about you, but I always like a headline that has a happy ending; this one does.
200 Trapped Horse Finally Rescued
You may have heard about the herd of horses that were trapped for 3 days on a tiny piece of land in wind and rain in the Netherlands a short while ago. They were trapped on a small piece of land, surrounded by water. Their natural instincts kept them from swimming to solid land, from their tiny perch. There were about 200 horses huddled together against the wind and water. The Nation was mesmerized watching this drama as 18 of the horses perished, while others were slowly weakening. First the fire department, then the Dutch army, tried to rescue them - both efforts were unsuccessful. Then, with a break in the weather, the water level went down and four women hatched a plan to attempt a rescue by luring the horses into the water. Here's a video of the successful rescue. > Horse Rescue Video  < BTW, the video has a killer sound track so make sure to turn your speakers on.
