Observation - mentionned kindly to me by a sweet little old lady in the grocery store - I am so releived as I would never have noticed!!

"My, you are a tall girl!"

Observation - mentionned to me by another sweet little old lady -

"I believe I met your daughter - she would be the really tall one right?" (Thus the reason I tell you to behave Aly - everyone knows who you belong to.......lol)




My observation - although many people are nice, they are dumb. 


Another observation - when people mention my height as if it is a new discovery, I get really cranky...... hmmmmmmmm they still mention it!

Have you ever heard anyone talk about the WNBA ? [the professional women's basketball league}

Is it not popular in America because many of the players are from overseas?

There's a group of tall women who probably need a forum like this one. wink

What do you mean its not popular? Their games are packed with screaming fans. Websites are overloaded. However, they make much less money than NBA boys simply because its still new venture.  How long WNBA is around? I forgot.. 7-9 years???

Now... If you compare popularity with tennis.. well.. compare the outfits and it will explain EVERYTHING  tongue

I like the Catsuits that the Australian womens pro basketball players wear. I think they should use them here.  wink You're right about the salary difference, the highest paid women make under the NBA league minimum. That sucks!!!!!!

Maybe a few more women sportswriters are needed for the media to cover leagues like the WNBA. wink
Although women's tennis seems to get plenty of coverage. roll

Many of the players in that league are from Europe and play in European leagues the rest of the year.

Looking at the league as a result of these posts I notice most of the very tall players are from Europe.  American girls maybe aren't drinking enough milk? big_smile

Thats exactly what I mean. I went to Europe not too long ago and their dairy products taste like Organic here. You gotta pay 3 times more for Organic here than general milk but I think it well worth it

Sorry, Arch.. not that easy. Although Board of Agriculture getting on the way of true organic but Organic seal will give away liers.

Cow has to be on the special diet to make organic milk. However, taking in consideration your age, I would say milk was 100% organic at that time  tongue  :ph34r:

I think you are right. The cow was only fed organic grass that was grown with organic cow fertilizer. Which begs the question. Which came first? The fertilizer or the cow? :wacko:

Food and the pursuit of a healthy diet often has strange results.  I remember a story about a woman from Los Angeles, who was a vegetarian, who ate most of her vegetables from her own garden.  Unfortunately her garden was near a major freeway and residue from car and truck exhausts coated her vegetables especially leafy kinds and herbs.
